Just For Mom:
I stopped in at Tea Embassy today on my way home from a couple of meetings. I was tired and stressed, but I had to stop to check this place out. It’s in an old house downtown on 9th and Rio Grande and it’s filled with a whole bunch of tea paraphernalia. I had a nice talk with the owners, some incredibly nice people! I bought a couple of bags of tea, one was a Lemon Chiffon Rooibos. Never had it before, and I can honestly say that I think it will stay in my life for a long time. I opened the bag when I got home and kept sticking my nose in to get a whiff of it. In fact, I’m going to drink a cup RIGHT NOW! I left feeling a little less stressed, until I got into my car and noticed that my son’s school had called (the principal, at that) to tell me that I forgot to pick him up after tutoring! Can we say bad mom? It all worked out. Phew, what a day! So, my suggestion for you (and me) this weekend is to leave the kids at home and take some time for yourself. Try out some tea, look around at all of the nice merchandise that they have and most importantly, relax.

I have been a longtime patron of the Tea Embassy. They are entirely responsible for turning me and my husband into tea snobs - just try to drink Lipton after having organic first flush korakundah!

Yes! The Tea Embassy is fantastic. Their Women’s Tea is amazing, and does wonders for me - not to mention it’s just beautiful to look at and smell!
