There is also lots to do and see downtown this weekend. One of my favorite memories with my son was a few years back on the same weekend in June. The ROT Rally bikers were rolling through town and we decided to head downtown to watch the action. After my son had enough of the noise from the bikes, we headed over to Halcyon in just enough time to catch the Gay Pride Parade. Perfect spot and even had a cup of coffee. The others watching the parade were very generous and gave my son t-shirts, beads and a button. He thought it was super cool to be in the middle of so much action. So, if you feel like taking the kiddos out to witness lots of action in the city… you know where to go on Saturday!

AND… Just For Mom
