I am so sorry to hear of your situation, It is never fun flying with kids on a long flight let alone a sick one. You will survive! just remember everything is temporary! As for the docs prescription I love it. I have never given my child anything except holisitic, until 2 days ago when his 2 year moulers started working their way out. Oh man....He is in pain, I couldn'ty stand it anymore and sent my husband for IBprofin, it did work I must say I only use this stuff when absolutley necesary. If your doc prescribes antibiotics often, get a new doctor they aren't researching enough! ANtibiotics and medication will contaminate your body with chemicals that are hard to get rid of later in life, causing cancer an more. It is amazing what the human body can do to heal itself with little chemical intervention! Mainly trust yourself, you know what is best for your child. But give it a shot, watch her fever and let her body heal on its own. Good luck! Oh no!

I would trust American doctors MUCH more if they were more holistic with their treatments. I work for a German company (Dr. Hauschka Skincare) and I know that plants are very powerful. There's not much you can do for a virus...just treat the symptoms and ride it out until it passes through the body. I know it's nerve-wracking to have a sick child, I hope she feels better soon!
