Live From the Plaza- Why not kick off the weekend early with FREE!! live music on the plaza at Austin City Hall?! Lunch is optional at $6.50 or bring your own and enjoy this unusually fine September weather that we’re having! Bo Porter & His Dixie Rockits will be performing from Noon- 1:00pm. Old Pecan Street Festival- Enjoy over 250 arts and craft vendors, musical and performing artists, art classes, dance classes, a scholarship competition, international foods, a carnival, petting zoo, and much more. Admission is FREE!! Saturday, 11:00am- 10:00pm, Sunday 11:00am- 8:00pm. Downtown Austin, 6th Street.

Not Afraid of the Dark: The Show that Glows- A magical show that is a visual treat for all ages. Ballet Austin II delights with a production that turns darkness into a place to laugh, sing, clap, dream, dance and do everything imaginable- except be afraid. Hurry… two shows only this weekend! Plus, the tickets are super affordable- $10-$14- making it a nice, inexpensive family day at the Ballet!! Saturday and Sunday, 2:30 and 4:00pm. National Hispanic Heritage Month Fiesta- Join the fun and celebrate Hispanic pride and culture. Bring the whole family for music, stories, crafts, and refreshments. Fairytale Threads Fall Consignment Sale- Save some of that hard earned money and shop consignment! All items are checked and in good condition. From clothes to toys and equipment for the kiddos, you”ll be sure to find something! Please bring a canned food donation for the Round Rock Food Bank. Saturday, 8:00am- 3:30pm. YMCA Adventure Night- An evening of fun for the whole family with a chance to enjoy inflatables, carnival games, concessions, tower climbing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boats, paintball, archery, hay rides and more! Cost is only $3 per person or $10 per family, while registered YMCA Adventure Guide members enter for FREE. Saturday, 5:00-9:00pm.
