shop the after christmas sales in january and february for the next christmas. saves money and it’s a lot less stressful since most everyone else is already done with their shopping!

Instead of a more stressful dinner/evening Christmas party, we host an annual breakfast party. (Ours is inspired by the traditional pork laden fare in my husband’s family home.) Breakfast is great — you don’t have to cook as much, the schedule is very kid friendly, and most people don’t have conflicts.
