Fairytale Threads, the twice-annual consignment sale in Round Rock, is scheduled for next week. Just when you thought all of the back-to-school bargains were over, Fairytale Threads comes along to save the day!

If you need clothing, bedding, furniture or toys for your kids, stop on by the sale, which opens to the public on Friday, September 18th from 10:00am- 8:00pm and Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 9:00am- 4:00pm. I went last year at the end of the first day and there was still a nice selection of items to choose from– I even bought my daughter’s favorite little bike there! All of the items are inspected for quality, pre-sorted and priced to sell. Admission and parking are both free. The sale is located at the Old Settlers Association Hall, 3300 Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock.

There will be door prizes for a $1 donation and you can also bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Round Rock Area Serving Center.

Now, if you really want to get in there and shop like you mean business, Fairytale Threads has generously donated FOUR PRE-SALE PASSES that are up for grabs! The passes are valid on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 7:00- 9:00pm. That’s a day before the general public can get in, so you will be sure to find some good deals. All you have to do is leave a comment here by Saturday, September 12, 2009 at noon for your chance to win! The winners will be contacted via email.
