Spring break is just around the corner, and it’s time to prepare for school-aged children to be on the loose for a week. Check out all the camps and activities available around town to keep your kiddo engaged and busy while you get some work done.

March 10 – 14, 2014 – Circle C Community Center
9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Let’s Get Moving – LEGO® Engineering – Ages 5 – 9 – $150

Come build super-cool models that use gears, axles and pulleys. Work in teams under guided instruction to build a different model each day. This class is designed so that children of all ages and building abilities can build together.

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Amazing Animals – LEGO® Robotics – Ages 7 – 11 – $175

Come build awesome robotic models featuring working motors and sensors! Work in teams under guided instructions to build and program Lego® models. Build a different model each class! Don’t miss out on all the fun! Learning is enhanced through use of laptops, and each class ends with a free play session to promote creativity.

If you need all day care, register for both sessions, pack your kiddo a (nut-free) lunch and we’ll spend some time outside between classes!

Learn New Skills

Join us for the We Are Girls Spring Break Camp!
For girls in grades 4-6
Session 1 – March 10th and 11th
Session 2 – March 12th and 13th
Cost is $100/session plus registration fee
At GENaustin’s two-day spring break camp, girls have fun, make new friends, and learn new ways to handle the tough stuff. This year’s focus is the ups and downs of friendships.

Fairy Tale Players
Age 5 – Kindergarten
Explore your favorite fairy tales through art projects, creative movement and imaginative play.  Then create an original tall tale to share at the end of the week.

Movie Magic
Grades 1-6 | Divided into age-appropriate groups
Action!  Rotate through classes in improv, design and acting for the camera and make a short film to share on the last day of camp. Offered in partnership with Film Kids.

  1. Are there any options available out there for toddler aged (3 1/2 yr olds)? My son’s Montessori is closed for the same week, and I’m hoping to find some kind of programs or activities since I cannot take the full week off work.
