Children in shelters across Texas will select a donated handbag, courtesy of The Texas Advocacy Project, to give their moms on Mother’s Day. Each bag will be fitted with a tag that has the Project’s toll-free legal line and pamphlets detailing how to get and stay safe.

The Handbags for Hope drive runs from February 25th through April 6th.

Handbags can be dropped off at Travis County Sheriff’s Office, 5555 Airport Blvd., Austin, 78751.

If you’d like to help process bag donations, please email: vol@TexasAdvocacyProject.org.

Thank you for helping us achieve our mission to provide free legal services and access to justice to victims of domestic & dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking in Texas. #Handbags4HopeTX
