Bloggin’ Mama Social Change in Plans

The bad news: Renee Trudeau, the scheduled guest speaker for the Austin Bloggin’ Mama Social is unable to attend due to a last minute schedule conflict.

The good news: Our new guest speaker for the event is none other than the famous Jill Leberknight, aka Buttermilk Biscuit from the Emmy Award winning PBS TV show The Biscuit Brothers!! In addition to playing the role of Buttermilk Biscuit, Jill is also a local mom and Top Producing Keller Williams real estate agent. She will be sharing something that I think many of us will be able to relate well to during her speech. I’m really looking forward to it!
AdvertisementHave you RSVP’d yet? If you are a local mom who blogs– about anything, not just about being a mom– join us for an evening that won’t disappoint!

Catherine Prystup has lived in Austin for fourteen years. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, hanging out at coffee shops, people watching, eating dessert, cooking, planning and going on long vacations, and singing really loudly (and badly) to 80′s tunes while driving around aimlessly in her car. She’s also a big fan of red wine and has been known to rant about how it’s a great form of therapy. She has a background in advertising sales and management. She’s mom to three human kids: a thirteen year old boy, a five year old girl, and a new little baby boy and to four furry animal kids: two dogs and two cats.

  1. Now I am super bummed that I cannot come! I wish my hubby didn’t have this event in Dallas for the weekend! BUMMER!!!

  2. Is it only for moms?

If you would like we can send out your invitation to all Austin mom bloggers on BC?

Is there anything else that BC can do to promote your event. It sounds like a ton of fun.

  3. Tony, this one event is only for mamas! Yes, I would it if you sent out invites to the moms in your network. That would be great!! I will send over an email to you shortly.

  4. You can show up anytime after 6:00. Music begins at 6:45 and Jill will speak directly after that at around 7:15. Plus, swag bags go to the first 50 attendees!
