Event: Kite Festival and Kite Making Workshop

The ABC Zilker Kite Festival is scheduled for Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 10 am – 5 pm, at the beautiful Zilker Park!

This annual event includes several kite flying contests for both kids and adults, activities for kids of all ages, as well as food and drink vendors. If you or your kids do not want to enter the contests, Zilker Park has many wide open spaces that are perfect for doing some kite flying. Or you can just lay back in the grass and gaze up in the sky at the thousands of kites flying around.

In addition to the kites, there will be moon walks, rock wall climbing, face painting, slot cars, bungee jumping.
