Nurture My Child is hosting an interactive Austin Summer Camp Fair for local families to meet camps in a one-on-one environment. Taking place on Sunday, February 28th, the Austin Summer Camp Fair is FREE and open to the public.
Nurture My Child is an online service designed for parents to evaluate options for their children’s education and developmental needs. Now in its second year, the Austin Summer Camp Fair will feature more than 60 summer camps, catered to ages 4-18, that range from fine arts to STEM to ice skating and special needs. Families will have the opportunity to visit with each camp and make the best, most educated decision on where to send their children for the summer. Children are encouraged to attend the camp fair and enjoy interactive displays and activities at the camps’ booths, giving parents an opportunity see what sparks their child’s interest.
Additional activities include:
- Adoptable animals from Austin Pets Alive!
- Ponies
- Lego event
- Photo booth
- Obstacle course
- Giveaways and swag bags
Admittance and parking at the Austin Summer Camp Fair is FREE. Parents will be given an event bag with items from sponsors and local businesses. They will also have the opportunity to enter to win a free week of camp from more than 20 camps and parent giveaways valued at over $500 with items from Austin Yard Cards, Thinkery, Chaparral Ice, Cupcake Bar, Top Golf, Gourmet by Numbers, and Tiffs Treats.
