Event: Tales from Another Mother Runner Book Party

Tales from Another

Part book tour event, part mother runner meet-up, this event celebrates the March 2015 debut of Tales from Another Mother Runner, the third book from Dimity McDowell and Sarah Bowen Shea (the authors of Run Like a Mother and Train Like a Mother). Complete with wine, snacks, mingling, amazing giveaways, and drool-worthy swag bags, this evening event will include a reading by Sarah, as well as by special guests Kristin Armstrong, author of the Miles Markers column in Runner’s World and Susan Schorn, author of Smile at Strangers. Both mother runners have essays in Tales from Another Mother Runner.

This (free, no-hidden-gimmicks) party also celebrates and connects women runners: Dimity and Sarah are founders of Another Mother Runner, an aid station for active, vibrant women that takes the form of a lively website, highly engaged Facebook pageTwitter feed, and weekly free podcast. Yes, the books (especially the new one!) and limited-edition tour merchandise will be for sale, but this shindig is about hanging out with and connecting with other runners. Bring along some running pals or attend solo: We know you’ll have a great time!
