Voyager is a music festival celebrating all forms of art that attempt to go “beyond the boundaries” and create something new. It was borne from a love of progressive music, which by definition is an exploration of new and interesting musical landscapes–that pulls in elements from varied musical styles, challenges conventions and makes use of advancements in instrument technology.
We have a thriving and growing community of musicians and artists who are keeping the vision of progressive music alive by striving to move beyond the boundaries of convention and exploring, be it by the injection of tonal and rhythmic complexities, unusual song structures, novel forms of instrumentation, or tasteful blending of styles.
Voyager Music Festival is a family-friendly, all ages event, and will carry on, rain or shine. Children 5 and under are free. Purchased tickets are emailed immediately. You will receive wrist bands for entry at the door.
Saturday, June 13, 11am to 11pm.
The Voyager Music Festival will be happening at Rusty Mule in Austin, Texas. It’s a nice, big, tree-covered outdoor space with plenty of parking!
Tickets are available online. Early bird tickets are available until May 31st and are $10 plus fees for adults and $5 plus fees for kids ages 6-17.
