Toddler Shoes

I am beginning the quest for shoes for my thirteen month old and am wondering if any of you have recommendations for a good pair? I am primarily looking for sandles- something summery and comfortable.

I went crazy looking all over town for size 5 girls sneakers for my now 16 month old. I went to Sandy's shoes and, after being "fitted" ended up with a pair of shoes too big for my daughter, which made her fall down all the time. I also went to Target, Wal-Mart, Payless, and Foot Locker.

I ended up one day at Dillard's at Highland Mall, where I not only met the nicest, most helpful sales woman, but also found a great selection of shoes, and just the perfect pair for my daughter. I would go back there any time to buy shoes for my daughter.

I have found some great shoes at Bright Beginnings. They have an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always eager to help. They also have a website where you can peruse their selection, which is a definite bonus for those of us with little ones running around. Have a look.
