Get The Kids Outside

“Go outside, kids!” is a directive heard often in my house. If I don’t force the kids to spend more time outdoors, they will stay glued to the computer, their cell phone or the television without spending enough time outside. It’s tough in the summer months here in Texas…. I’m not gonna lie. By the time we’re all up and at ’em, that burning hot globe in the sky makes it just too hot to do much other than floating in water, preferably iced down water or Barton Springs. Either one will do. But maximizing those hours that you won’t die from heat exposure – very early morning and late evening – can be the key to making sure kids get plenty of fresh air in the summer months in Texas.

Outdoor play allows kids to develop their physical skills and get fresh air and healthy exercise, while also giving them an opportunity to burn off some energy. Springfree Trampoline is working to bring families together through safe, outdoor play and has partnered with KaBOOM! to motivate families to go outside and be active. Spending active family time outside provides a fun and safe, yet unstructured, environment for the entire family to embrace a healthy, happy and active lifestyle.

Join Springfree Trampoline on Saturday, June 2, from noon to 4 pm, to celebrate getting kids outside!
