In a mere two weeks, school year 2012-2013 will begin! Are you ready? ! There’s still time to hit the sales for school supplies, lunch and snack items, and other miscellany. Tax-Free weekend is coming up on August 17th, 18th, and 19th, too! You can save a few bucks on purchases that total $100 or less; additionally, many merchants will have extended business hours during tax-free weekend. In general, tax exemption applies to school supplies, clothes, and shoes. Check out what the state has to say about tax-free weekend before you head out to shop.
The beginning of the school year is an exciting time, and all the shopping and preparation is a big part of the excitement. It’s not always easy, though.
