Lemonade Day Austin is a FREE, fun annual citywide event designed to teach kids of all ages how to set goals, develop a business plan, establish a budget, seek investors, provide customer service, and give back to the community.
On May 4, 2014, thousands of budding entrepreneurs will set up lemonade stands, providing an opportunity for businesses and families to partner together to train the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Each child who registers online will receive a backpack and Entrepreneur Workbook mailed to them that will teach the 14 Lessons of Lemonade Day including how to create budgets, setting profit-making goal, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community.
Close to 15,000 young entrepreneurs all over and around Austin will launch their lemonade stand business this year!
Registration (austin.lemonadeday.org) is quick and easy- it takes only a few minutes online. Parents or other adults can register their children individually online, or teachers and program leaders can register entire groups of kids with the registration form.
As a bonus, Lemonade Day Austin is offering one lucky LiveMom reader a $50 gift card to HEB to help the participating child purchase items for their lemonade stand.
