Hot music, fine art and cold beer have made the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar the place where Austin shops in the giving season. Coming December 16-24, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, the bazaar is two events in one: an art fair and music festival.
Visitors can explore an amazing array of handmade items from more than 160 artists while enjoying live music! There’s even a full cash bar in case you want to sip and shop! On exhibit will be everything from statement-making collectible pieces to modestly priced stocking stuffers, from stylishly smart to joyfully weird. While local artists predominate, there are a select few carefully chosen from around the country to display their wares.
The Armadillo Bazaar stage showcases some of Austin’s most popular musical talent, with live performances throughout the afternoon and evening. Musicians include Ruthie Foster, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Marcia Ball, Carolyn Wonderland, Dale Watson, Shiny Ribs, Mayeux and Broussard and many more. Click here to see the full schedule.
