Have you take your kids to Barton Hill Farms yet? There are only two weekends left before they close for the season so make plans to visit either this weekend or next.
Open on Saturday (10:00am- 10:00pm) and Sunday (10:00am-5:00pm), the farm offers a one-of-a-kind experience for kids of all ages, including adult kids! Get lost in the Willie Nelson-themed Corn Maze, jump on the gigantic jumping pillow, let the kids unwind a bit in the sandbox built in the shape of a fifty-foot replica of the Lively, an early Texas maritime schooner, ride a barrel train, and take some of those obligatory fall photos on hay bales! There is also food for sale and beer for those moms and dads who work up a thirst chasing the kids around the corn maze.
A special treat this weekend: live music and a movie! On Saturday from Noon- 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Big John Mills and the Road Dawgs band will take the stage. Stick around on Saturday evening for a special screening of the family-friendly flick, Hotel Transylvania.
The cost is just $7 for ages three to ten and $10 for ages 11 and up, and includes entry into the corn maze. Children two and under are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Purchase your tickets online and save $1 on admission.
Location: Barton Hill Farm, 1115 FM 969, Bastrop.
