  1. I would love to win!!

I love being a mom because it is the most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life and I know that at the end of the day, it’s all so worth it. Plus the hugs and kisses I get from my kids can’t compare to anything else in this world.

  2. What a great giveaway! :)
One of my many favorite things about being a mommy…I love the morning snuggles & kisses when our kids join us in bed and snuggle down under the covers with us just to cuddle for a few minutes before the mad dash begins!

  3. Oh my, I want to win this!!! Here is my entry, in the form of a Haiku in honor of Kari Anne:

(I just looked up and read Mandy’s comment…I didn’t mean to bite your post, Mandy, I too heart the a.m snuggles!!!)

Ode to My Beautiful Twin Boys:

    Sweet morning snuggles
    From my two sleepy angels
    Before we begin our day…

Just one small thing in a sea of millions! I have never had a more important or fulfilling role than the one I have as their mother.

    Jen :)

  4. Great idea!

I love being a mama because my son helps me remember to take things slow, to stop to smell the roses (or any growing thing, for that matter!), and enjoy all the things that make the world a fascinating place. The hours are long and the work is hard, but there are some pretty great benefits.

  5. I love being a mom, because it’s put me in this great community of other mothers. No matter how horrible or wonderful my day may be, I go through it feeling supported by all the other moms doing the same thing out there in the world. I love feeling that connection and sense of community.

I also love being a mom, because it is so insanely challenging. I am forced – on a daily basis – to rethink, redirect, and regroup. It’s not always fun, but I keep reminding myself that challenges are what help me grow the most.

Plus … I like toys. Having kids give me an excuse to look for, purchase and play with toys. So … toys … they’re a plus.

  6. I love being a mom because I get to see proof every single day of the incredible beauty that can exist in this world.

  7. One of the favorite things I love about being a mom is simply watching my kids. They are at times hilarious, ridiculous, terrifying, graceful, completely uncoordinated. They amaze me so often. As one of my daughters is changing more and more with age I find it incredible to see her interact with others. She is slowing hitting the beginnings of womanhood. (Very beginnings). But to watch her brain work is so much fun and joy.

  8. Thank you ladies for the great comments! As Marc and I wait for (overdue day 4 and counting) our first to arrive, it is heartfelt words like these that help me be calm and wait for this insane and wonderful new time to begin for us. Kudos to all the great moms in the LiveMom community. Thank you for your inspiration, stories, advice and encouragement.

  9. I love creeping into my childrens’ rooms at night and watching them sleep so peacefully. It makes it all worth it.
