It’s nice when we recognize our kids when they do well at school, but it’s even sweeter when they are rewarded out in the community. Here are businesses which give kids rewards and freebies for school success:

Austin Orthodontic Arts – Patients earn 5 HimeBucks for all As and Bs if you bring in your report card and earn their way towards prizes, like a day pass to the Austin Rock Gym, iTunes gift cards and more.

Card Traders of Austin – For each A earned in a core class, your child receives $2 in store credit, which can be used toward anything in the store. Simply bring in the report card, and your child can choose their rewards for their good grades! Teachers who bring in their ID badge will be rewarded for their efforts with a 10% discount!

Chuck E. Cheese’s – Download and print out Rewards Calendars (the Super Student Award has a place for the teacher to sign) and then bring completed calendars and receive 10 free tokens as a reward. There is also a Graduation Certificate and Homework First Calendar.

Discover  – Get at least a 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) to qualify for a one-time cash reward on each new Discover student loan.

Esurance – Save up to 10% on liability, collision, and medical payments coverages by being a full-time high school, college, or university student under 25 years old with at least a 3.0 GPA (or a “B” average, if your scale is different). You’re typically eligible for the discount while enrolled as a student and up to one year afterward.

GEICO – Get a good student discount when you maintain a B average or better.
AdvertisementGpaRewards – GpaRewards is a brand new program that rewards hardworking students with discounts all around Austin, simply for being students with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher at a respected university. Students at UT Austin, Texas State, St. Edward’s University, and Southwestern University are eligible for this FREE discount card. Discounts available at Brooklyn Pie Company, the Austin Zoo, Rocket Fizz, Mighty Bird and more.

Hey Cupcake! – The Austin-based cupcake shop offers promotions a few times a year for students with As and Bs (or 3s and 4s) on their report cards. Follow Hey Cupcake! on Facebook to find out the next time the promotion will be offered.

Jason’s Deli – Reward students for good grades, good efforts or good deeds through Jason’s Deli’s Student Reward Card program. Children ages 1-12 can be reward cards recipients. Cards are valid only at participating Jason’s Deli restaurants and good for dine-in meals only. Please allow 5-7 days lead time to fulfill card requests.

Krispy Kreme – Bring in your report card to a local Krispy Kreme and for every A or the equivalent, you’ll get a FREE Original Glazed doughnut.

Liberty Mutual – Liberty Mutual offers car insurance discounts for students, under the age of 25, who achieve at least a B (3.0) average.

Pizza Hut – For each grading period, any elementary or middle school student who has three As or the equivalent can receive a Personal Pan Pizza and a small soft drink or carton of mil by presenting his or her report card to the manager. Dine-in only. Student must be present and student must have report card. Participating locations only.

State Farm – Save up to 25% when you get good grades. The savings last even after you graduate from college, until you turn 25.
