If you want a taste of SXSW Music but don’t have a wristband, KGSR’s live broadcast at the W Austin is the way to go! A $5 donation to the Make a Wish Foundation gets you in to see four hours of live music. The schedule for 2014 was announced today:

You will need to wake up early and you will end up waiting in line to get in, but this is one of my teenage daughter’s favorite things to do during Spring Break. Following the early morning music, we get a breakfast treat at Austin Java at Austin City Hall (they validate parking for Austin City Hall) and then walk down to the Convention Center to check out the free Flatstock poster show (opens at 11 a.m. on Thursday and Friday).
