Texas Cave Conservancy Cave Day (Round Rock) – Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Texas Cave Conservancy will host the 20th Cave Day at the Avery Ranch Cave. This FREE event offers the opportunity to visit cave preserves and learn about the history of the area. Cavers will assist visitors while in the cave. This educational show cave has lights and a deck. Flashlights or headlamps are not necessary, but they may be fun to have along. South Asian New Year Festival – Saturday, April 12, from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Come celebrate the South Asian New Year at the Zilker Hillside Theater. The South Asian New Year Festival, or “Pohela Boishakh,” is a FREE annual outdoor celebration showcasing the culture and diversity of South Asia. Now in its thirteenth year, The South Asian New Year Festival draws more than 5,000 people each year. The Hillside Theater Stage will feature live dance and music performances along with authentic programs highlighting the colorful diversity of South Asian Culture.
