Dive In Movie Night- Going to the movies and taking a dip in the pool are always fun ways to spend your time during the summer, but what if you could combine the two? Well, the Twin Lakes Family YMCA has done just that with its Dive In Movie Night. Enjoy a family-friendly movie poolside at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA Pool on Friday from 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Concessions available, bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Scientists and experts from all over Central Texas are on hand to look at and identify natural objects (fossils, bones, rocks, etc.) and archaeological materials (arrowheads, points, scrapers, etc.). Scientists from Texas Natural Science Center’s Non-vertebrate Paleontology Lab and Vertebrate Paleontology Lab, and Texas Natural History Collections are present at each ID Day, along with a variety of special guest experts from The University of Texas at Austin and the Austin area.
