Here’s a recipe that is sure to please everyone in the family! It was submitted by Amber, a busy mom of four hungry kids!!
1 Pound Skinless chicken breasts
1 Packet of taco seasoning
1/3 Cup of water
Fresh, Pre-Made Mild Salsa from HEB
One package of monterey jack cheese
Chop chicken breasts into strips and cook on medium heat until fully cooked. Add container of salsa, taco seasoning and water to meat and cook for 5-6 minutes or until water is cooked down. Remove from heat and scoop a couple of tablespoons full of mixture onto tortilla. Heat an oiled pan on medium to low heat. Place tortilla in pan with meat mixture and desired amount of cheese and place another tortilla on top. Gently flip to brown both sides, slice in quarters and dinner is done!
