Do512Family’s Kick off to Summer- 2-7 p.m., To celebrate the best season ever, Do512 Family decided to throw a party for families with live music, local food, magic, special performances and activities for the kids. Midway Food Park also features a playscape for the kids, and plenty of room for families to stretch out or play. We’ll also have an inflatable obstacle course and slide, face painting and healthy activities from IT’S TIME TEXAS.  BYOB – please, no glass. Music on the Square (Georgetown) –  6:30 – 8:30 p.m. This summer, enjoy live music on the Courthouse Square each Friday night in the Music on the Square Summer Concert Series. All concerts are FREE! This Friday you can enjoy Roland Waits and the Wayward Travelers. 710 S Main Street, Georgetown.

Movies in the Park: Maleficent (Leander)- 7:30pm. Often described as a combination of state-of-the-art technology and the nostalgia of the 1950s drive-in, the Movies in the Park series provides families the opportunity to spend time together under the stars while enjoying first run movies…all for FREE!! 601 S. Metz Movies Under the Stars: Walking with Dinosaurs- 8 p.m., Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy an outdoor movie at Metz every Friday. Free popcorn and drink at every showing!  Metz Rec Center, 2704 Canterbury Street.

That 80’s Concert- 8 p.m., The ACO will once again present its annual FREE Pops Concerts at the Sheffield Hillside Theater in Zilker Park. Join us as we celebrate Trapper Keepers, Jordache jeans, and neon in That ’80s Concert! In addition, our annual raffle drawing will award one lucky audience member (per night) a chance to conduct John Phillip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever. Get ready for a summer evening filled with live performances from your favorite ’80s music memories, from Back to the Future to the E.T. Theme song, this concert is the nostalgic walk down memory lane your that inner Michael Jackson has been craving. The concert will be held both Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th. Bubblepalooza- 8:00am – 3:00pm. Bubblepalooza! returns for its fourth year! The FREE annual celebration of open play where everyone is invited to spend time on our City Terrace and expansive lawns enjoying live music, chalk art, trailer food—and of course, tons of bubbles! Activities include Live Music on the Summer Stage from the Jellydots, Kupira Marimba and more; In My Own Backyard, theatre for the very young (0-4 years) presented by Trike Theatre Company and Pollyanna Theatre Company; Jeff Boyer’s Bubble Trouble inside Dell Hall; a Food Truck court, Arts & Crafts tent, local vendors, Coloring Corner, fun activities and crafts, The Thinkery, VIP Lounge for Season Ticket Holders, plus ticket giveaways & specials throughout the day! Beverages are available for purchase on-site. Parking will be available for $8 per car at the Palmer Events Center Garage. Hasbro ATX Best Morning Ever-  9:00-11:30am. ATX Television Festival and Hasbro Studios are creating that nostalgic morning for kids and parents alike — a family-friendly Saturday Morning Cartoon Breakfast! Come in pajamas, grab some pancakes or a bowl of fruit loops, then play some games at the Highball, before snuggling up with blankets in an Alamo theater to enjoy episodes of My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop andTransformers: Robots in Disguise. Hasbro Studios will provide giveaways, an interactive Smilebooth photo booth, plus game stations (coloring, play doh, and more)! While attendance (and breakfast) is free, please RSVP if you plan to attend. Home Depot Kid’s Workshop– 9 a.m. – noon. Kids are invited to build a Home Depot Load ‘n Go Truck at this FREE hands-on workshop, designed for children ages 5 – 12. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Kids Workshop activities are scheduled on a first come/first served basis. KIDFISH (Pflugerville)- 9am to noon. KIDFISH works to teach children a deep appreciation for the sport of fishing, as well as awareness and respect for the conservation of the environment and its natural resources. Unlike some fad sports, fishing is a lifelong pursuit as much about spending quality time on the water with family and friends as it is about catching lots of fish. School’s Out for Summer at Texas Memorial Museum- 9am- 4pm. Celebrate the end of a successful school year with FREE admission (donations welcome) to the Texas Memorial Museum! Kickoff June Summer Fun Checklist for Kids Event (Round Rock)- 10 a.m. to noon. Free First Sundays at the Bullock Museum- Noon to 5:00pm. Enjoy FREE admission all day during Free First Sundays, held the first Sunday of every month.
