Celebrate Motherhood at Listen To Your Mother Austin

From Portland to San Francisco, New York, Boston and Austin, men and women will gather across the nation in 41 cities to hear live readings from local authors at Listen To Your Mother. With Mother’s Day fast approaching, attending the Austin show on Saturday, May 7, 2016 is a great way to appreciate the beauty and complexities that motherhood brings. If you’re looking for a good laugh, cry or inspiration, you’ll likely find a little of all at this year’s show.


Austin’s show is produced by Kristin Shaw, whose work has been featured at Huffington Post; Child magazine; and the Washington Post’s On Parenting blog; and Leigh Ann Torres, who currently manages Preemie Babies 101, the official blog of the nonprofit Hand to Hold, as well as her personal blog, Genie in a Blog. Both producers will be reading at this year’s show in addition to the 2016 cast members below:
