Dirty Girl Mud Run

Dirty Girl Mud Run, the original—and biggest and best – organized mud run for women, is coming to the Austin area on Saturday, March 23rd and will be held at Stunt Ranch.

You’ve probably heard of mud run organizations like “Tough Mudder,” the hardcore, military-style mud run targeted mainly at men. But what about the ladies? Where’s their chance to get down and dirty with this current mega-trend in physical challenges? Dirty Girl stands out because it’s for women only, it’s not competitive, and it’s all about camaraderie. A portion of all proceeds goes to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and cancer survivors always run for free.Advertisement

Dirty Girl is a 5k run for women only of all ages and athletic abilities. Don’t worry, it’s not a “race” in the traditional sense. It is an untimed obstacle course designed to push you slightly out of your comfort zone, but only as far as you are comfortable going. Forming teams is encouraged, and so is helping your fellow Dirty Girls get through to the finish. At a Dirty Girl Mud Run you’ll find excitement, laughter, and camaraderie—as well as lots of music and even some adult beverages. It’s a day you’ll never forget.

Over 700 women are already registered! Will you be joining them? To sign up, click here. For more information about the race, you can check out the website here or follow Dirty Girl on Facebook.
