It’s officially Autumn, so let the fall fun and games commence! Pumpkins, corn mazes and hay rides await. Here are some of the fall festivals coming up in Austin and beyond.

Barton Hill Farms Fall Festival and Go Horns Corn Maze

Join us for the 2014 Fall Festival & GO HORNS Maze at Barton Hill Farms! The farm is set among 100-year old cottonwood trees, rolling grass hills and the beautiful Colorado River. Our Fall Festival is the perfect setting for all members of the family. Kids enjoy outdoor entertainment including rides, games, a corn maze, pumpkin patch and farm animals while Mom & Dad enjoy live honky-tonk music while sipping a frosty brew on the banks of the Colorado. You can even catch Longhorns football on our outdoor TV.

We are the most picturesque pumpkin patch in Central Texas. We offer activities for all ages ranging from kayaking to pony hops, a massive jumping pillow, steer roping, a life-size sunken pirate ship, and an early Texas fort, yard games and other outdoor activities. Take the 30-minute drive from downtown Austin to this year’s Fall Festival & GO HORNS Maze at Barton Hill Farms!

Pfall Pfestival and Pumpkin Patch at Hawaiian Falls (Pflugerville)

hfpvilleThe Hawaiian Falls Pfall Pfestival is every weekend from October 3, 2014 through November 2, 2014 at the newly opened Adventure Park and Aloha Event Center. Visitors from the local community and across the region will be entertained with a variety of games, craft stations, activities, live music, fall food favorites and more while strolling through our decorated grounds.

Additional festival highlights include Family Fall Photo Opportunities, Daily Monster Mash Dance Party, Bounce Houses, Do It Yourself Take-Home Craft Stations, Family Adventure Trail Spooky Maze of Fun, and Trunk or Treat on Halloween.

Dates: Weekends beginning October 3, 2014 through November 2, 2014
Hours: Fall Festival Hours- Friday 3-9 .pm., Saturday 10 .a. m- 7 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cost: Entrance to the festival is free. Tickets may be purchased for activities and crafts. Pumpkins are cash or card and vary from $5 to $25 depending on size of pumpkin. Pumpkin painting on-site for a nominal fee. You may provide your own pumpkin. Adventure Park will be open during festival hours. Guests may purchase an All-Adventure Park Admission for $29.99 which also includes 10 festival tickets. Attractions may also be purchased on an individual attraction basis with cash or tickets.

Evergreen Farms Pumpkin Hunt in Elgin

The Pumpkin Hunt is a family-friendly event where children of all ages can enjoy fall activities. All activities are ongoing throughout the day, allowing families to customize their experience at the farm. Pumpkins of all sizes will be available for purchase. The premier event, the Pumpkin Hunt, includes a wagon ride into the Christmas tree fields where mini pumpkins are hidden in the trees. Afterward, enjoy pumpkin decorating on the pavilion along with the other activities and games: maze, firetruck ride, train ride, face painting and more. Activities are ongoing all day.

Ashley’s Playhouse Fall Festival

Come bounce, paint and play!! Featuring face painting, cookie decorating, spooky jumping, playhouse tours, activities and more! FREE and FUN for the whole family.

October Fall Fun at Elgin Christmas Tree Farm

Enjoy hay rides, animals, mazes and more. On Pumpkin Festival Weekend, enjoy food, pumpkin decorating, competing in duck races, and playing on the playground.

Harvest Festival (Round Rock)

Join Community Christian Church for a FREE Harvest Festival, great for kids up to age 14. Pony rides, bounce house, and petting zoo with pigs, ducks, goats, bunnies and more. Also, FREE games with prizes, and make a craft to take home with you! Come in costume if you like. 512-244-0310.

International Fall Festival (Georgetown)

Bring the family out to enjoy pony rides, a mobile barn, a rock wall, pumpkin decorating, international food and much more.

Fall Festival (Kyle)

Fun, games, pumpkin patch photos, crafts, baked goods and an overall good time!

Balcones Youth Sports Fall Festival

Enjoy games, music, moonwalks, a doughnut eating contest, chili cookoff, costume contest and more! Concessions available including Kona Ice and cotton candy. There will also be a vendor marketplace to get started early on your holiday shopping.

All are welcome! Our fun family carnival has all the fixin’s: music, games, prizes, food, lots of activities and plenty of friends. It’s a day of friendship and community, and great entertainment for the whole family! The kids absolutely love it, and you’ll love watching them jump, play, and BE ALIVE at Mathews!

Leander Fall Festival

Come join Leander Fire Department at their Annual Fall Fun Festival.  LFD has carnival-style games, vendors, food, a haunted house, silent auction and more at this family event.  All proceeds go to our Leander Volunteer Fire Department.

Pflugerville Community Church Fall Festival

Hyde Park Annual Fire Station Festival

Hyde Park Neighborhood Association invites you to have a little fun with your friends and neighbors at our own Fire Station #9. There will be live music, family friendly entertainment, treats, tours of the fire truck, information booths and prizes for child, adult, family and pet costumes. Bring $5 to join or renew your HPNA membership and a picnic blanket or chairs. Parade will gather at Shipe Park (44th and Avenue F) at 3:30.

Dia de los Muertos Festival

Dia de los Muertos Festival is a unique festival featuring a full day Dia los Muertos cultural experience with live music, performances, art, kid’s zone, food and drink. The festival brings together a dynamic blend of music with vibrant Dia de los Muertos traditions. Proceeds from the festival will benefit Easter Seals Central Texas’ mission of promoting independence and creating opportunities for people with disabilities.

Fall Festival and Bazaar

Come celebrate the fall season with a bounce house, train, petting zoo, Velcro wall, fun slide, games and snacks. The bazaar will showcase vendors selling items to get a jumpstart on your Christmas shopping. Costumes are welcome! This is an event for the community. Please come and join us at Our Savior Lutheran for fun!

Farmer Fred’s Harvest Fall Carnival

All ages welcome. Enjoy carnival games with prizes and candy while The Nut Job plays on the big screen. Don’t miss the costume contest! A Haunted Hayride, barrel train ride and concessions will be available for a nominal fee.

MUMC Fall Festival

The festival will have pumpkins, face painting, hay rides, music, food, games, crafts, cake walks, jump house, bake sale, handmade treasures from the Craft Group, Community Garden and ideas for recycling, and lots of information about MUMC ministries.

Movies in the Park: Beetlejuice

Movies in the Park is a series of free films brought to you by the Friends of Wooldridge Square and the Alamo Drafthouse. Each year, FWS and the Drafthouse bring you totally free movies right in downtown Austin at Republic Square Park. Austin residents and visitors bring their blanket or lawn chairs (and often a picnic dinner!) for a fun and relaxing evening under the beautiful Austin night sky.

Fall Fun Fest (Round Rock)

This year’s theme is Pirates! Take a voyage to the park for a fun morning filled with pirate-worthy adventures and games. Jump on a hayride, conquer a game, earn treasure, treats and eats! Sail through a new book and come take a look. Entertainment and fun for everyone! Be sure to wear your favorite costume! We will have carnival games for toddlers and preschoolers, hayrides, cookies and punch and fun entertainment for all to enjoy.

Shenandoah Baptist Church Fall Festival (Cedar Park)

Join us for a free family friendly Fall Festival as an alternative to Halloween. We offer a petting zoo, laser tag, carnival games, a video game trailer, a cake walk, a hay ride, a family photo booth and free food! There will be hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, cotton candy and lemonade.

Goddard School Fall Festival (Round Rock)

Our annual Fall Festival is open to the entire community and will feature indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family! Activities include: Children’s Storybook Fashion Show, contest for best storybook character costumes with prizes, pick and paint a FREE pumpkin, gym station games and activities. Enjoy a FREE, fun filled afternoon for the whole family!

Mueller Fall Fest

Fall Fun at Sweet Berry Farm

Harvest the fall fun at Sweet Berry Farm with corn mazes, Berry Bouncers, pumpkin painting, stuff your own scarecrow, hay rides, train rides, ice cream and lots more.

Dates: September 27 – November 2, Monday – Sunday (closed Wednesdays)
