Lisa Copeland, Automotive Industry Trailblazer

Here at LiveMom, we love meeting new moms (and dads) doing interesting things around town. Our monthly Feature series give us an excuse to learn more about these hardworking Austinites. Thanks to Howdy Honda for supporting local mamas by sponsoring our monthly Local Mama Feature series.

This month’s feature is the inimitable Lisa Copeland. My work with led me to Lisa, and we hit it off immediately. Generous, kind, driven, and empowering, Lisa is the kind of woman I’d want to work for and with and have her alongside to chase my dreams and encourage me along the way.

Just a few of Lisa’s accomplishments are jaw dropping:

• Awarded Top 100 Women in Automotive Industry in 2015 by Automotive News

• Named to Board of Directors of Women in Automotive in 2016

• “Women of Distinction” award, named by the Girl Scouts CTX in 2012

• Served four years on the FCA National Dealer Council

• Named one of the Five Most Powerful Women in Austin by the Austin Business Journal in 2012

• Led the first FIAT retailer to break the NAFTA sales record by selling more than 100 new FIAT 500’s in one month in 2012

Breaking that sales record meant that Lisa could name her prize, and she asked for – and received – a special edition Fiat in hot pink. You’ve gotta like her style.
