Lego Lab - 4:30 p.m., With Legos, you can build anything you can imagine and tell any story you can dream up. Come to the Lego Lab to hear, see, make, and create different stories, all while building with Legos provided by the Library! Recommended for ages 5 and up. FREE! Michael’s Kid’s Club : Sparkling Snowflakes – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., They craft, you shop! Kids 3 and up can enjoy a quick project and take home a finished masterpiece. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in. $2 per child, supplies included. Parent or guardian must remain on premises during the event. Cost: $2 per kid. All participating Michael’s locations.
Hands on History: MLK Jr. Day (Georgetown) - 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Kids of all ages can learn about history with interactive,  hands-on activities. FREE! The Williamson Museum, 716 S. Austin Avenue, Georgetown.

Snow at the Mill (Johnson City) – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Bring your mittens and scarves and join the Science Mill for Snow Day! Yes! A snow day in Texas! We’ll have real “snow” in the backyard and some special cold weather activities for all ages! From 11am-1pm, special snow activities include snowball catapults, snow art and castle building, snowball throws with speed checks, ice ball piano and more! Included with regular admission. Paramount Theatre Storytime – 11:30 a.m., Our friends from the Paramount Theatre will be here today for very special storytime highlighting their upcoming production of Elephant & Piggie! Umlauf Family Day – Noon – 4 p.m., Family Days offer special, hands-on programs designed for families with children, four to ten years old. Central Concerts – 2p.m., Central Concerts is an ongoing series to bring musicians and the community together in the Faulk Central Library.  Tejano legend Manuel “Cowboy” Donley and his daughter Sylvia Donley. They will play a selecton of his favorites. Mr. Donley formed the group Las Estrellas in 1955 and toured for two decades. He has composed and performed original music for numerous films and was inducted into the Tejano Music Hall of Fame in 1986. A lover of rock-n-roll, Mr. Donley is noted for his mastery of traditional Tejano and his incorporation of other musical styles. FREE! Faulk Central Library, 800 Guadalupe Street.
