Furrever Friends Fall Fest- The Humane Society of Williamson County is hosting a festival with hopes of placing their furry friends in loving homes. Join them and celebrate fall with Fall food and drinks, games for the family, special adoption rates (they will be spinning  the wheel every hour to figure out how much they will charge!) and more. Mascot Mania- Come to the museum for a free day-long celebration of all things football. Hear from participants, supporters, and fans. Let’s Move Austin Play Day- Mayor Lee Leffingwell and the City of Austin is teaming with the YMCA of Austin to host Let’s Move Austin Play Day at the YMCA, featuring a FREE day of fun activities to help families rediscover the joy of playing. Everyone is invited to visit the East Communities YMCA  for active family-oriented games and highlighted by supervised play on the Y’s new 2500 square foot KaBOOM Playground. Rapunzel- Prince Francis is desperate to marry Princess Rapunzel but, sadly, she detests him and flees into the forest to escape. She stumbles upon the garden of an old witch named Tina and discovers magic vegetables that Tina grew to restore her youth. Rapunzel is so hungry she devours all the veggies and when Tina finds out, she is furious! She demands Rapunzel’s long golden hair as payback and cutting a lock, discovers it now has marvelous age-reversing powers! Tina locks Rapunzel in a tower to keep the magical mane close and the girl must toss her tresses out the window upon demand: “Rapunzel, let down your hair!” Meanwhile, back at the castle, Francis’s long-lost identical twin – Prince Ronald – has returned from traveling the world in search of true love. Flying Theater Machine: Fairly Silly Fairy Tales- Sundays at the Hideout, Flying Theater Machine presents the only kid-oriented improv in Austin. The audience will help us with suggestions and sound effects, and a few lucky kids will even get to join us on stage. Take your favorite stories- shake them up, mix them around, and pour them through a silly filter and what do you have? Fairly Silly Fairy Tales!
