The Three Little Pigs at ZACH Theatre- Saturday, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Sunday, 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Take three little piglets, their devoted single-parent mom, and a misunderstood Big Bad Wolf, and you’ve got the perfect “Great Big Little Broadway Show” for audiences ages 3 and up. Jack and the Beanstalk- Saturday, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Sunday, 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. with Easter egg hunts after both shows! After selling the family car on Craigslist in exchange for magic beans, Jack ascends to new heights as he tries to make things right. Does this story sound a little bit familiar? It’s The Scottish Rite’s new twist on a classic, Jack and the Beanstalk. Live music, puppets, and lots of action make this the perfect show for young kids. Under the Big Red Box: Circus Family Night- 6:30-8:30 p.m. Circus science is coming to the Thinkery! Did you know some magic tricks involve simple math? Do you have the hand-eye coordination to be a juggler? How does regular sugar get turned into delicious, fluffy cotton candy? Wimberley Market Days- 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Wimberley hosts the oldest outdoor market in the Texas Hill Country and the second-largest in the state with over 475 booths of everything you can’t live without. Come stroll the tree-shaded paths, listen to live music and shop to your heart’s content. FREE Admission!

Home Depot Kids Workshop- 9:00am- Noon. Bring your kids to this FREE How-To Workshop for kids ages 5-12 years old where they will build a Chalkboard Planter Stand! All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin. All participating Home Depot Locations.

Spring Hoedown- The day kicks off the party with the first Annual 5K Garden Gallop, as well as a ½-mile Kids’ Fun Run.  Race tickets ($40) include admission to the Hoedown, a buffet plate, and a JBG Garden Gallop T-shirt. A farm-to-table buffet catered by Ironwood Icehouse, as well as live music and dancing, local beer, veggie options for non-meat eaters, ice cream for dessert, and dance lessons for those needing a little brush-up before hitting the dance floor. will be a part of the day with plenty of activities for the kids! 7th Annual Funky Chicken Coop Tour- 10 a.m.  Begin the day with a stop by Coop Tour Headquarters, at Sunshine Community Gardens in a cooperative arrangement with Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Tour Headquarters opens at 8:15 am, with tour tickets going on sale at 9 am. We’ll have a getting started with chickens class, free educational booths, and chickens, of course! Coops viewing around town will be available 10 am – 4 pm. 1 ticket per person, children 12 and under are free!

Hancock Hop-a-Palooza 2015-10 a.m. noon. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and join the fun at this year’s Community Easter Egg Hunt. Activities include: Egg Hunts, Face Painting, Crafts, Carnival Games, and pictures with the Easter Bunny! Don’t forget to bring your basket and camera! FREE food, great prizes. Literature LIVE! Presents Chicken Big- Noon. Bawk! It’s an elephant! It’s an umbrella! No, it’s a…chicken?! See how the chickens in this coop make room for a giant new friend in Literature LIVE!’s less-than-traditional puppet show production of Austin author Keith Graves’ wonderful book, Chicken Big! The Magikhana Show- 5 p.m. Come out to the French Legation Museum for a magical evening under the oaks. The Magikhana Show mixes magic and comedy that will keep audiences guessing. This family-friendly program features renowned juggler, magician, mime, and comedian, Arsene Dupin along with the Magical Mystical Michael, Mama Lou, Owl Morrison and Peter the Adequate. Woombikes at Kids Activity Day at Mueller Farmers’ Market- 10 a.m. Join the Ghisallo Foundation as we ride along the Mueller Hike and Bike Trail. We will feature shorter and longer routes for varying age levels; instructors and volunteers will assist along the ride. Parents and adults are more than welcome, and are encouraged, to ride along with the group. WOOM Bikes and helmets are available for children of ages 1.5 to 13 years old. Woombikes will be performing bike safety checks and basic maintenance to insure kids’ bikes are safe and ready to roll during the Market. Easter Sunday Brunch and Egg Hunt- 10am – 2pm brunch. The giant, gourmet buffet is sure to please adults, and there will be items just for kiddos, too. The little ones can enjoy an Easter Egg hunt and face painting by Twistin’ Art from 11am – 2pm. Java Jazz will provide the live soundtrack to a beautiful Sunday also from 11am – 2pm! Spring Festival Eggstravaganza at In.gredients- Starting at noon. Come spend your Easter Sunday with us and some of our favorite furry friends! Easter Egg Hunt at Pioneer Farms- Easter Sunday history gets a 21st century do-over at what is billed as Austin’s biggest Easter Egg Hunt for children of all ages.  Hunts start at 1, 2 and 3 p.m., with advance starting times for the little ones at 1 and 2 p.m. Bring your brightly-colored Easter basket and come join the fun. In addition to the candy-filled eggs, there are bunnies to be petted (the real variety) and others to be purchased (the toy variety). Plus admission gets you into the museum for the day, so you can see all the farm animals and historical exhibits at our 1800s Texas sites. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children. Groups of 20 or more get in for $5 each. Plan to bring the family out for the afternoon for Austin’s most unique and family friendly Easter Egg-stravaganza.
